1930s Blush Pink Silk Tie-Back Nightgown

A breathtaking original 1930s silk nightgown in the softest shade of blush pink, crafted from whisper-light tissue silk with an almost ethereal drape. Featherweight and impossibly soft, the silk floats with every movement, while delicate floral embroidery adorns the neckline and softly puffed sleeves. The sweeping full skirt and adjustable tie-back waist create the graceful, elongated silhouette so characteristic of the era.

These are the kinds of garments that survive only rarely. Nearly a century later, it remains as romantic as the day it was made—a true heirloom piece that feels equally at home styled as luxurious loungewear, an elegant summer dress, or even as an understated bridal gown.

The waist ties at the back, allowing the fit to be adjusted beautifully. It is shown on my EU 36 model with the ties pulled in fully, but will comfortably accommodate a range of sizes while retaining its elegant drape.

Condition

Very good antique condition.

There is a faint greyish mark towards the lower back of the skirt, reflected in the price. Due to its placement within the fullness of the gathered back skirt, it is not particularly noticeable when worn. There are also two very small holes to the front of the skirt. Please refer to the photographs.
