1970s Mark Russell England Wool Tapestry Penny Lane Coat with Shearling

An original 1970s Penny Lane style coat by Mark Russell England, known for high-quality bohemian outerwear. The exterior is a thick woven tapestry fabric that feels like pure wool (no material label; may be wool blend), combined with real sheepskin (shearling) at the collar and cuffs. Fully lined in acetate. 

The tailored crossover silhouette fastens with a press-stud inside and a decorative button outside, defining the waist and gently flaring at the hem. Warm, weighty and beautifully constructed — a true winter piece, and rare and highly collectible British vintage coat.

Condition:
Exterior: Excellent. Fabric and shearling well preserved.
Interior: Acetate lining shows light wear and a few small discreet repairs, not visible when worn.
