1970s Ice Blue Suede Dagger Collar Jacket Shirt

A beautiful original 1970s suede jacket in the most wonderful icy baby blue, with a long, lean silhouette and an exaggerated pointed dagger collar.

Originally constructed as a lined jacket, the lining has been removed, leaving the suede lightweight and supple enough for the piece to sit somewhere between a jacket and an overshirt. It works beautifully worn buttoned as a suede shirt or open as a light transitional jacket.

The cut is quintessentially 1970s, with a fitted shape through the waist, long sleeves, oversized collar, chest patch pocket and silver-tone snap fastenings down the front and at the cuffs. A wonderfully understated piece of 70s suede in an unusual 

Condition

Good vintage condition with the natural patina expected from approximately 50-year-old suede. There is general surface wear and light scuffing, particularly around the cuffs and collar/neckline, along with subtle variations in the suede throughout. No major damage noted.

The original lining has been removed, with small remnants of lining material still visible within some of the interior seams. This does not affect wearability and is reflected in the condition.
