Vintage Late 1960s/Early 70s Adini Sultana for Neiman Marcus Caftan – Collectable Indo-Bohemian Luxury

A rare and highly collectable piece from Adini Sultana, created exclusively for the iconic American department store Neiman Marcus. This original caftan from the late 60s or early 70s epitomises the sophisticated end of bohemian fashion, blending Eastern textile artistry with Western silhouettes.

Made from a semi-sheer cotton voile with shimmering lurex thread woven throughout, the fabric features an exquisite patchwork-style layout of paisley and floral prints in rich shades of violet, lavender, and deep plum. The construction is thoughtfully tailored: a gently shaped A-line cut gives it movement without overwhelming volume, while the split angel sleeves add drama and elegance.
