Description

A striking 1970s Penny Lane style coat in warm beige/tan suede, cut in a classic double-breasted silhouette with an oversized lapel and strong, sculptural lines. The suede has developed a beautiful, soft patina over time, giving the coat depth and character while retaining its structure.

The collar and cuffs are trimmed with an exceptionally plush, creamy fur, likely refined sheepskin. The fur is dense, airy and cloud-like to the touch, creating a luxurious contrast to the more structured suede body. The exaggerated cuffs add a dramatic, indulgent finish that is emblematic of high-end 1970s outerwear.

The coat fastens with wooden buttons and is fully lined in quilted acetate, making it comfortable to wear and easy to layer. A true statement piece that balances elegance and boldness, equally suited to everyday wear or more styled looks.

Condition
Very good vintage condition with normal signs of wear consistent with age. There are light markings and subtle areas of discolouration to the suede, as expected for a genuine vintage piece, especially in a lighter colour such as this. These add patina and do not detract from the overall appearance or wearability, however could be professionslly cleaned if buyer chooses.
