Description
A striking handmade cotton dress featuring dense hand embroidery across the front yoke, cuffs, and hem in vivid ochre, crimson, and plum tones. The geometric motifs and contrasting red lining recall folk embroidery traditions from the wider Central and South-West Asian region, often associated with Afghan village craft of the 1960s–70s.
The yoke is structured and slightly rigid, giving shape through the bodice before the skirt falls loosely below. Fully lined in deep red cotton, with a tie-back at the waist for subtle adjustment. The skirt is full and softly gathered, creating a graceful drape.
Styling
Perfect worn as a standalone dress or layered over jeans for a relaxed bohemian silhouette. The vivid embroidery and colour contrast make it a beautiful transitional piece through the seasons.
