1970s Phool Hand Block Printed Cotton Midi Dress

A beautifully soft and romantic 1970s Indian cotton dress by Phool, crafted from lightweight hand block printed cotton in rich earthy tones of chocolate brown, faded rose, burgundy, and dusty peach.

This piece has all the details collectors search for in early Indian export and boutique bohemian fashion of the era — an airy gathered silhouette, voluminous balloon sleeves, intricate contrast bib panels, and traditional hand block printed motifs created using carved wooden blocks and natural dyes. The tasseled side ties with tiny red bead accents add another lovely artisanal detail.
