Vintage 1970s Tribal .900 Silver Fan Necklace with Red Glass Beads — India

A striking handcrafted vintage collar necklace from India, created in the 1960s–70s from high-grade tribal silver and symbolic red glass beads. The articulated fan construction draws from traditional ceremonial jewellery and is designed to sit high and powerful at the base of the throat.

The side panels feature stamped motifs with inlaid red droplet forms associated with protection and prosperity. The naturally oxidised silver patina has been preserved intentionally, adding depth and history to the piece.

A highly collectible statement of sculptural design and cultural heritage.

Fit Notes

Structured, high-sitting collar fit. Best for a petite to small neck size up to approx. 34.5 cm circumference. Can be subtly extended if a looser fit is preferred.

Condition

Very good vintage condition with natural patina, light wear and hand-crafted irregularities typical of genuine tribal silver work. Glass beads intact.
